WECHS is a four to five year dual-enrollment program where students engage in a rigorous academic curriculum of honors and college-level coursework. Our expectation is that all of our students will graduate with both their Associate's and their diploma, making our program truly "A Degree Above."

The faculty and staff of WECHS support this mission and fulfil its' purposes by:

  • Recruiting, enrolling, advising and retaining a diverse student body
  • Evaluating existing programs and implementing innovative practices to serve the changing needs of the student population
  • Providing multi-tiered support services that help students succeed academically and socially
  • Enhancing student life through clubs, leadership opportunities, and community involvement
  • Empowering students to pursue their passions
  • Encouraging students to exhibit ethical behavior in and out of the classroom
