Patriot Kid Vacation Story

Liberty Vacations in Disney World and the Bahamas With RylieLiberty

Liberty with friend at Magic KingdomOn Saturday, February 3, Liberty and Rylie's family left for our trip to Disney World. We traveled in the car for nine hours through North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and finally Florida. It was very warm and we were even able to wear shorts! The next day we had a wonderful adventure in the Animal Kingdom where we saw elephants, hippos, and a giraffe that poked his head right into our jeep. Rylie and Liberty's very favorite were the flamingos! Did you know that the more shrimp they eat, the pinker they get?

Liberty at EpcotThe next day we traveled through all the countries of Epcot. We were so excited to find the Princess Jasmine in Morocco. We also saw Donald Duck wearing a sombrero in Mexico!

Our very favorite part of Disney World was the Magic Kingdom. We had a terrific time on the rides and seeing all the characters. Rylie and Liberty loved Space Mountain!

Liberty by cruise shipOn Thursday we drove to Port Canaveral to board the Disney Cruise ship. While we were in the port, we got to watch the space shuttle, Atlantis, blast off into space from our balcony! It was like a ball of fire shooting through the air! Our ship sailed to Nassau, Bahamas as well as Castaway Cay. The weather was beautiful, and we had a great time splashing in the turquoise water and playing on the white sand beach. We found sand dollars, conch shells, and beautiful, smooth pink shells.

We were sad to leave after eight days, but we had a wonderful trip!
