Patriot Kid Vacation Story

Liberty's Spring Break with Caroline and Claire
Liberty

Liberty on the MonorailOver our spring break we took Liberty to Disney World. We stayed at The Animal Kingdom Lodge. We had a view of the waterhole where a baby zebra, giraffes and Ankole cattle went to drink. The first park we went to was Animal Kingdom.  We went on a safari ride and got super close to a lion and many other animals (including elephants and some real cute antelopes.) The second park we went to was The Magic Kingdom. Our favorite ride (my Dad's and mine) was Space Mountain. My sister liked the Kali River Rapids (at Animal Kingdom) and Mom reallly loves 'It's A Small World'. Liberty enjoyed all the rides. Of course she was safely tucked away into my Dad's backpack so she wouldn't get wet or fly away, but of course she had her own excitng ride when we were taking the Monorail to Magic Kingdom from The Contemporary Resort after breakfast with Mickey one morning. Liberty takes a rideMy Dad said we should take a picture of Liberty and us on the Monorail. We took the picture and as the doors opened for us to exit, we jumped out leaving Liberty sitting on the seat. Before we could turn around the doors closed and Liberty was last seen waving good-bye to my sister Claire as she sped away on the Monorail all by herself. You should have seen all four of our faces. My sister and I cried and my Dad rushed over to the attendant to ask for help. In about eight minutes Liberty returned to us. She had quite an adventure on our DISNEY VACATION !!!
