Patriot Kid Vacation Story

Justice Spends His Summer Vacation in Russia

Justicein St. PetersburgHI! My name is Alexei and my brother's name is Feordor.  We are from Russia.  This summer we went there and we took Justice with us.  On the first day we didn't go to the airport, we drove all the way to New York.   When we got to NY we went to the airport and sat on the plane and had a ten hour ride.  Russia is a bit different than America. There is an eight hour difference, so when it was night there it was day here. The day we got there almost all our friends and family members came to our house.  I was very happy.  Russia is a very beautiful place especially in St. Petersburg. We went to Peterhof to the summer palace and behind it are beautiful fountains - they are all gold.   My favorite one is the one where a man is opening a lion's mouth.

We went to this village and in this village there is a house that my grandma's sister owns.  It is a good house. There is a garden there and in that garden there are all kinds of fruits and veggies.   We went to a place called the Winter Palace.  It used to be a kingdom but now it is the biggest museum in the world.  My favorite room is called the knight room.

Days passed fast and soon it was the day to go back and so we got on the airplane and had another ten hour ride. I really liked the trip.  It was awesome!
