    Representative David Rouzer visits Noble Middle School's 8th graders to speak about his responsibilities in the United States House of Representatives.
  • Composer Darryl Johnson visits Noble
    Composer Darryl Johnson visited Noble to work with 7th and 8th grade band students on his piece "Bullet Train".
  • Noble Science Olympiad team finished 2nd place in States
    Noble Science Olympiad team competed in the Wilmington Regional Scienec Olympiad tournament and both the Varsity and JV teams finished 2nd place overall in their division.
  • Noble 5K club ran the Quintiles 5K
    The Noble 5K Club represented for the 5th year in a row at the Susan G. Koman 5K at Quintiles Wrightsville Beach Marathon.

Noble Student News

Congratulations to Mitchell Spivey, 7th grade, for earning Honorable Mention for his painting in the Azalea Festival Children's Art Contest.
Noble Science Olympiad team competed in the Wilmington Regional Science Olympiad tournament and both Varsity and JV finished second place overall in their division. Every team member medaled in at least 1 event, we came home with 15 first place medals, earned the coveted spirit award, and Paige Kelmer received the prestigious Women in Science Award for dedication and leadership. The Varsity team now moves on to state competition in April.
Students from the Eastern part of North Carolina auditioned for the Junior Eastern Regional Orchestra this past weekend.
Selected students will travel to Jacksonville May 6 to participate in the clinic and concert. New Hanover County had a great turn out and the following students were chosen from Noble:

*Congratulations to Hannah Jackson!
Tomorrow Hannah Jackson, 8th grade, will represent Noble Middle School at the first ever NHCS All-County Secondary Honors Art Clinic. Hannah along with Mrs. Cooley and one student with Art teacher from each NHCS middle and high schools will participate in the Art Clinic at the Cameron Art Museum on Friday and Saturday am. The All-County Honors Art Show will be in the Cultural Arts Building at UNC-W Saturday, 2/18/17 from 2 - 3 pm.

Melissa Looney's, 8th grade, artwork was chosen for the Best Foot Forward Art Exhibit, Friday, 3/10/17 from6 - 7pm, Wilson Center Lobby.
*Congratulations to Sasha An, Audrey Edwards, Elizabeth Sniffen, and Raven Broadstock for their participation and achievements in visual art and photography in the PTA Reflections 2017 Contest.
*Students from 35 counties in the Eastern District auditioned for limited spots in two bands. Symphonic band is the top band, and concert band is the second band. Selected students will travel to Greenville February 2-4 to participate in the clinic and concert. All the students represented Noble and New Hanover County extremely well, and we're so proud of all of them!
