The Laney High School PTSA is having a school wide beautification day to spruce up school grounds on Monday, August 2nd and Saturday, August 14th from 8am-11am prior to 9th grade orientation and Open House.

To ensure all New Hanover County high school students dress in a respectable, safe, and professional manner, a standardized dress code will be followed by all students beginning with the 2009-2010 school year.
If you plan to attend a college, university, or a NC community college transfer program you will be required to take certain standardized tests. To enroll in a college transfer program at a community college, you will be required to take the ACCUPLACER test. Because students are often unsure of their future plans as underclassmen, New Hanover County requires that all sophomores and juniors take the PSAT. |
