Any 4th and 5th graders who love to read, want to make new friends, and have a strong desire to be a part of something BIG are invited to try out for the Battle of the Books Team! The competition is based on remembering details and key ideas, so don't rush through the books! Students that want to be eligible for the team are responsible for reading all of the books chosen. The team will be selected based on total points earned from reading the books, taking quizzes, verbal responses to questions, and forming questions/key detail lists from books. Information about joining the team will be given out after the school year begins, but you can start reading now. Visit Dr. Page's website for more info and a list of that year’s books!
