Kindergarten Enrollment Updates

* Applications for Kindergarten Year-Round School will be available February 22, 2010 thru March 5, 2010 for initial lottery draw.

*Applications for grades 1-5 Year-Round will be available March 8, 2010 thru April 16, 2010 for initial lottery draw.

*Applications will be available on line at www.nhcs.net beginning February 19, 2010.

*Letters will go out no later than April 26th notifying the parents of those students who have been selected in the kindergarten lottery at year–round schools.

*Grades 1-5 lotteries will be drawn up to July 21, 2010 for year-round schools.

Parents that do not currently have a student attending Eaton should go to their district schools for kindergarten registration, at which time they can complete an application for Eaton. Parents must bring the following documents for registration:  Original Birth Certificate or Certified copy; **Completed Immunization Record; Proof of Residency: Rental or Lease Agreement, Homeowners Insurance policy or New Hanover Co. tax bill on home, (no utility bills); students social security card.

Parents that currently have a student attending Eaton this year and are assigned to Eaton next school year should come to Eaton with the required documents listed above to register their kindergarten student no later than March 5, 2010 to exercise their sibling privilege.
