Mission Statement

Alderman Elementary School is committed to offering all of our students the opportunity to develop computer literacy and motivation through the use of multimedia. Through practice and instruction, our students will develop learned skills that will ultimately prove beneficial to their academic growth.

Technology is a vital part of the daily activities of each Alderman student and faculty member.   Each classroom, kindergarten through fifth grade, mainstream and exceptional, comes equipped with up to 4 networked Windows XP computers and a printer.  We also have a state-of-the-art computer lab replete with 30 networked Windows XP computers, two laser printers, scanners, and Alphasmarts.  Each classroom teacher has been issued a laptop computer for classroom use.
